About the Department.
Founded in Denver in 2021 by a small group of operators tired of the gap between what Colorado's creative community could make and the infrastructure it had to make it with.
We are not a coworking space, not an agency, not a film school, not a club. We borrow from all of them and answer to none. The Department is built by and for the people who use it.
The building is a former industrial warehouse on the east side of the city. Its bones are honest. The work we host inside should be too.
